Until like 10 years ago, no one even thought that marriage meant anything else than a man and a woman committing to live their life together. But since then, the powerful homosexual movement, which has penetrated Hollywood and the media, has convinced a too large percentage of Americans that it's not fair that homosexuals can't get married. In fact they can get married - to a member of the opposite sex just like everyone else!
I like the idea of President Bush's proposal to ammend the Constitution, because we know that the federal judiciary is full of liberals, and who knows when they may find some new "right" in the Constitution that the Founders never intended to be there? Unfortunately, the amendment has no chance of passing because Congress has too many liberal Democrats who don't care about the morals of America.
